2nd Day at work
Brain... turning to sludge..
Well, I wanted a challenging, interesting job, and i've sure got one.
So far, works going fairly well. Yesterday, I had my induction, complete
with complimentary Japanese lunch, and then spent the rest of the
afternoon meeting my team manager, and other people around the company.
Today, I've checked some stuff out of CVS, and am reading the
specification document to try and get my head around the project. Its big...
Still, I think that its going to be all good.
Jess and Charlie seem to be going well too, and Vicki is happy at her
new job, which is great, and Luc and Rhia seem to be going well also.
Anyway, the computer is prompting me to take a "micropause"

sounds like fun.... not as much fun as my office with a view of ziggy the bag man though !!!! watching a homeless man make a flag out of gargage bags and his umbrella is somthing you dont see every day ... that is unless you are me!
Sounds good, but pray educate the uneducated...what is a micropause?
We've got some software on the work pc's thats supposed to stop us getting RSI - it prompts you every so often to take a short break (like 10 secs long). I could uninstall it, but it tells me to take breaks.
That's a pretty cool idea - good to see some companies taking care of their slaves *cough* workers.
